Prof (Dr) A A Broadway is a Professor, Department of Dairy Technology and former Director Research at Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, He is currently Associate Dean, Warner School of Food and Dairy Technology, former Head University Publication Division and Director Career Planning and counseling. He earlier held the position as Additional Director (HRM)

He has published a large number of national and international research papers. He had guided a large numbers of Master’s and Doctorate research work. He is former Managing editor, The Allahabad Farmer, a journal of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, since last 20 years which was first published in 1924, former Editor, University Annual Report and University Newsletter, former Editor, Hamar Gaon, a Hindi publication for Rural India since last 16 years. Senior Advisor to The Allahabad Theological Journal, SHIATS, Allahabad.

He has been Member Board of Director, Executive board, Academic council of the university. Selection Committee member of the university, Expert at Uttar Pradesh Public Service Comission, Expert to Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Agricultural university, Raipur,Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He has been Nodal officer of NISAGENET and Nutri farm scheme of ICAR. Member Adivsory Board, PSGCAS Search, A journal of Science and Technology, published from PSG College of Arts Science.Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, Invited Speaker to 37th Dairy Conference at Goa in 2009, He had chaired and co chaired technical sessions in 2nd UPASC, at Lucknow.

He is Co author of two books, “A text book of agri business management”, and “Research methodology in Agricultural Economics”. He edited a book on the centenary celebration of the university, as Chief Editor, recently edited the souvenir and proceedings and recommendation of Third Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Science Congress. He recently successfully organised Third Uttar Pradesh Agricultural Science Congress of UPCAR as Organising Secretary. He received an award as Contributing Agricultural Scientist from BRS, Allahabad in 2015 and recieved an award from Hon'ble Governor, Uttar Pradesh, Shri Ram Naik  by UPCAR, Lucknow for Organising the 3rd Uttar Pradesh Agricultural Science Congress sucessfully in 2015.

He administered the Directorate Career Planning and Counseling, which takes care of the placement activities of the university students, associated with the Directorate since 2007; and successfully held campuses for hundreds companies and has placed more than thousands students.

As Director Research in the university since 2011-2015

During my tenure, some achievements are listed below:-

1. Two Varieties, one each in Wheat and Rice has been notified by Government of India
2. Four varieties of Rice, four of Wheat and one variety of Pulse have been released by State Variety Release Committee, Uttar Pradesh Government.
3. Nine patents were published.
4. A centre of Excellence worth Rs 1.23 crores in Nutri farm has been established by U P Government.
5. Defined and established Research structure of the university.
6. Formulated a Scheme for the university to enhance submission of research projects to external funding agencies called as “ Earn your first job”
7. Sanctioned 270 small times Research Project funded by Directorate of Research for the university staff.
8. 39 externally research projects were running in the university.
9. Bringing green revolution to eastern India (BGREI), a scheme of Government of India is being implemented by the university in three district, Allahabad Kaushambi, Fatehpur.
