The Department of Civil Engineering runs two undergraduate programmes (8 Semesters):

i)  B. Tech. in Civil Engineering

ii) B. Tech. in Environmental Engineering

It also runs postgraduate programmes i.e. M. Tech. in Civil Engineering (4 Semesters) in the following specializations:

i)     Transportation Engineering
ii)    Structural Engineering
iii)   Geotechnical Engineering
iv)   Fluids Engineering
v)    Environmental Engineering
vi)   Construction Engineering and Management

Apart from this the department also offers PhD in Civil Engineering (in all specializations).

The department is well equipped with all the necessary facilities and laboratories.The students passed from this department are placed in various prestigious institutions and organizations of the country and abroad. Some of them have also pursued there higher education from IITs, NITs and overseas also.

The teaching faculties of the department are highly qualified and are drawn from various renowned universities across the globe such as Indian Institute of Technology (India), National Institute of Technology (India), UTAH State University (USA), University of Detroit Mercy (USA), Memorial University of Newfoundland (Canada), King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (Saudi Arabia) and Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand).
