Department of Soil and Water Conservation Engineering
The Department of Soil and Water Conservation Engineering is one of the oldest departments in the country. It has highly trained professionals who teach and research several courses related to the conservation preservation and retardation of soil retardation processes. It has very strongly contributed in the design and development of soil and water conservation structures for large and small watersheds. Recent technologies and advances are being imparted at the department at undergraduate , post graduate and Ph. D levels. Labs in the department are equipped to model processes at the laboratory level.
